Jane Thomas is a Partner at DMC Partners. She specializes in senior-level hires and team builds in Global Markets and Asset Management, primarily covering the Fixed Income space with a focus in Macro and Credit.  Her credit specialties include High Yield, Leverage Loans, Distress, Structured Credit, Structured Finance, Private Credit and Emerging Markets primarily servicing Hedge Funds and Alternative Managers.

Jane has more than 15 years of experience in the financial services industry. Prior to joining DMC, she was a Partner and the Head of Global Fixed Income at Westwood Partners for nine years and before that a Managing Director and Co-Head of the Global Fixed Income team at Sheffield Haworth. She began her career with seven years at Merrill Lynch, starting in the Derivative Group covering FX, Rates, and Credit. Jane focused solely on credit after two years, joining the Credit Derivatives desk trading the Structured Total Return Swap book for Merrill as well as CDS, CDO’s, and credit-linked notes.

Jane graduated from Boston University with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science.
